Bob Geldof in Naples between live and shopping
Christmas with my friend Enzo Avitabile

,Irish singer, promoter of Live Aid in 1984, performs tonight December 22 to the Mediterranean theater

Bob Geldof- Around Naples along with Enzo Avitabile for a shopping tour in the streets of the center and then back to work. It's top secret the contents of the new song that Irish singer Bob Geldof is affecting the soul man of Naples.. What is certain is that this evening (22 December), the founder of Live Aid and Band Aid concert will be in the Mediterranean theater as part of events organized dall'Ept for the holiday season.  Arrived yesterday in Naples, Geldof, has met U.S. Avitabile, with which, as mentioned, is working on a project not yet public. Then break for shopping and so the two artists have been seen around the streets of downtown with a touch in the Galleria Umberto I, a tour of shops, then back to work to develop the show tonight.  Geldof is now known all over the world especially for its commitment to fighting hunger and disease in Africa and its projects Band Aid and Live Aid.
In 1984 he became the architect of the project from which was born on Christmas single "Do They Know It's Christmas," which brought together - under the name Band Aid - the most famous English musicians who sang to raise money against world hunger. The following year, with Midge Ure of Ultravox, was the promoter of the Live Aid rock concert, held July 13, 1985 in two different continents. In 2005 he launched a new edition of the event, called Live 8, a series of 10 concerts for July 2005 in countries belonging to the G8.
