I watched the first half of this and it was, err, quite poor.  It is like they have taken a 15 minute interview and padded it out to an hour (with ads).  There are a few photographs continually recycled, a soundtrack that is probably what the producers imagine the Rats sound like (no actual tracks), a non-sensical voiceover and a few talking heads like Midge Ure, Spandau Hadley and Phil Collins (ffs, what a pr!ck).

The only good part of it is when Geldof speaks.  It does re-tred over a lot of familiar ground, but as usual Geldof is engaging and interesting to listen to.  As usual the Boomtown Rats are pretty much glossed over, and oddly more about the start and end than anything in the middle (which let's face it is the interesting part).

I gave up on it after 30 mins as I had something to deal with, but do plan to go back and watch the end when I get a chance.

My advice when you watch is to fast forward over all the bits when Geldof isn't speaking and you'll get a half decent interview.
