I would if I could but I can't with my browser/Adobe.  I know that there are 32 pages but I can't see any of them, just a big grey square.

Here are some other links for the G8:

Chairman's summary (a brief overview)

Summit documents (again, the Signed Version of Gleneagles Communique on Africa, Climate Change, Energy and Sustainable Development is not readable, but the others are: Africa; Climate Change, Clean Energy and Sustainable Development; Climate Change - Plan of Action; Global Economy and Oil; Trade; Reducing IPR Piracy and Counterfeiting through more Effective Enforcement; Middle East Peace Process; Gleneagles Statement on Non-Proliferation; G8 Global Partnership Annual Report - G8 Senior Group, June 2005; GPWG Annual Report Consolidated Report Data - Annex 2005; Iraq; Secure and Facilitated International Travel Initiative Summit Progree Report and many more.)

Franna, I couldn't get the link either, so have to thank Mr Plan B (for bunny?) but seriously, that was important, for us not to forget the results and proceedings, to keep focused. Thanks you guys!!

Don't know why the link won't work for you....

This is the main page, everything's available from here:  http://www.g8.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1078995902703

Maybe that will work better.

No, it just doesn't work.  Maybe I should upgrade my Adobe Acrobat.  I'm using v4.0.  What you using Franna?

Alternatively, does the 32 page PDF document contain anything other than the sum of the individual topic-specific documents about Africa and climate change?  This is important to me!

I'm using Adobe Reader - version 7.    It's a free download, for Chrissake!  I think it's time you upgraded.  With version 4, you will have difficulty opening lots of files.

I haven't read the individual topic-specific documents, so I can't comment.  If they are summaries, I'd expect that the .pdf is significantly more detailed.

Thank you franna.  I've actually not had any problems with any other PDFs before.  However, I've upgraded now.  I didn't know it was free (you obviously did) - but it wasn't hassle-free!!

Having had the chance to look at all the documents now, the signed communique is the same as the first 3 topic-specific documents (Africa; Climate Change, Clean Energy and Sustainable Development; Climate Change - Plan of Action) but it is a POOR REPRODUCTION QUALITY version of those individual documents.

I see that Blair has stopped underlining his signature.  I wonder if someone has whispered to him what it was saying about his personality or perhaps he's just feeling more self-confident these days, even though it's barely two months since he was repeatedly being called "liar" to his face by members of the public on national TV.

The only one to underline his signature was Chirac.
