Sex Age & Death -> Brilliant From Begining To End

I'm new here, my name is Samantha Baines and I'm from Canada...I just thought I had to comment that this is the most amazing album I've heard in ages. I think it is filled with so much emotion and every song is just beautiful. I'm so glad that he decided to write this one and the fans are so fortunate to have it. I hope more people pick up on this album because yes, it is, a masterpiece.

I first got into it when I bought Live At Hammersmith Odeon and it had the two music videos from the album and I thought, WoW, I must get this album, I must. So I searched everywhere and finally got it in Toronto and I haaven't stopped listening. Bloody brilliant.I hope he tours again so Ic an see it live. But, there are some sad tunes and that is all part of the emotion and what he was feeling.

I can completely relate to what he says when he talks about writing what you feel....It is the only way you can write...You can't write about something you haven't experianced. YOu write about what you're going through during thoes times.

Well done Bob!!! You've done it once again....

Anyway, I just had to express my love for this album and what a better place to express it!

Cheers,

Samantha

Lovely post, LadyPinkFloyd.  I agree, it is a great album.  Some really beautiful tunes in there...a lot of variety in the music, lyrics, and emotions Bob expresses.  The unfortunate thing is, like you're saying, where all of that emotion and heartache came from.  It's sad/disheartening that he had to go through what he did to produce that album...but you're glad he did, I'm glad, and it seems he is too.  He's said (only 100 times ) that music, those songs, put a shape to his experiences, and that helped him understand how he was feeling about all that happened to him...which helped him cope with the whole thing, I believe.
