Well I wantet to do some Volunteer work in Niger, But eigther I don't have the rigth education, or I live in the wrong country. I live here in Denmark, which is not that much invovlede in Saving anything anymore (sorry if I hurt other Danes opinion here, But Marocco does more for Niger and Sudan that Denmark or any scandi. place). But I can't seem to find any place here in Denmark where they take Volunteers, Off couse the Red Cross does, But from my personally point of view, there are things that they have done and haven't done, which I cannot stand by. I would really like to help the Woman and children, But also the elders, which seems to get ignored because of the TV affect the Children probbaly will give. But I Hurt so much more when I see an Old man holding his head up with his stick like arms. The sun has rinkled his skin, so he feel older Very Much before his time. I know this is Not because of where Africa is, but what they are in need of. My grandfather lived in north sharah living very much under the normal (but this was his Choise, not to Completly change their culture). He died some 4 years ago, may his stars forever shine bright until his return. He became the age of 94, But he has a Good caring familiy, which helped him in the fields. But this is chanching like in our world, where the kids don't even want to stay arround for to long, because they are So Busy ( In Reality - the only thing that we can hurry to, is death). And my hands are free, my brain is working probably, just need somewhere to let it out
But does anybody know a place for a Danish person to do volunteer work (hmm just not an akademik surgent or a nurse). But I would be able to help, This I Know! I donnot care about money or credits, Just How fast one can go and help. No more talking, now it should be time for peoples creative ideers, to be taken into account, and Act uppon.

I've seen more than one places where they also take 17 years old as volunteers, but they just can't go oversea. But I would think that they are are always welcome to work in their offices. There is something for students here at Oxfam http://www.oxfam.org.uk/what_you_can_do/volunteer/index.htm I don't know if MSF has anything for younger people, that depends on where you from. but you can look here http://www.msf.org/msfinternational/volunteer/
My problem is Denmark (funny thought) we should be more advanced in these areas, But apprently they are Not. But there are other things that one can do to help.
There are many more ways to help, You your self can also make youre own new and creative way.
Don't be limitied by the world and TVs illusions, Belive that you As well as I are also Creative beings, with maybe even greather ideers than what has been before. (no could never know before one trys and trys again). WindBlower

Greetings WindBlower. I have no advice for you to help you volunteer but something will come to you. I am just saying hello, and I like your spirit!Welcome to the forum.
Thank you Camilla, But I have already tryed at MS But I don't have the right education and if one has to go through so many interviews and Forms before going, the people will be dead, before I have finally been approved by their ways. The other two I don\t know So I will read Them through, and thank you so very much for the help.
And thank you Mortema

Man, Can't I just buy a ticket for Timbuktu or something, and Go on turist visums, which usualy lets one stay out for 3 months. I a month ago found out about the ancient/old manuscripts found in timbuktu, and I printet one of the illustratet manuscripts, for my father to look at, man he could read it, and began, this is what I was thought, where did you find this and so on. -But Now They just tells us that also there has faminie hit, I remember visiting south of marocco last year, and there where loppers (or what ever does beast are called), these where big red ones, the ones I saw on BBC a few days ago, where yellow. But Like I said to my familiy back then, this is Not a Good sign, and no one is seeing it...
Is it not possible to maybe take a flight to South of aswan, Nubia ( I LOVE nubian people, and worked with them), So I should be able to get from there to the borders of Sudan, But I would enter Sudan at the Dafur region, which would probably be a very risky way, but again it is there NO one is Now! Or I could enter the borders from the south of Marocco, but then I have to go through the deasert I think.. Need to think

languages, yes but I don't think a classic arabic would help one there, a bit maybe but not going further south. I speak the languages most we do here in the western world. And a bit Egyptian arabic and classic arabic, And a bit Dash'la'hit (which Is my familys tribal language). But I would seek a Brave person (which there are some of) which would travel with me and translate, But I would probably, switch the guides out underway. Meaning making a deal with a guid about going so and so fare south (to where he wants to end this trip), then (in the deal) asked for another guid at this point, again doing the same system. Remember I am half Amazigh, so it should deffently not be impossible (nothing really is). And then My real name, is the name of a very ancient and Holy place in Sudan, And so fare this (also because of the person that I am) have helped me a lot in southeren countrys. Risky, well not more then crossing a street in copenhagen I think it is a point of view, and if one has been to africa before. Because belive me I am more afried of visiting USA than Africa, more Crimes in USA and stuff like that. The problems in Africa, are so much different. From state to state is is very different. One state can be missing the Rainy season, the next state can be having to much rain cause mesqutys to seek cover mostly where people are, and thereby giving these people maleria. The next state can be having inside problems, which has cause a lot of confusion between the people and so on. Oh man, just watching Bob in Ethiopia (sorry Suck at the spelling right- part ) Where he was walking reminded me of Timbuktu, Damm I would Love to go there. The history behind these buildings, I would love to just Watch the sun go down behind them. See how the red colors changes into a darker Red, then Brounis then Dark broun, all theses colours. sorry, will stop now. :) WindBlower
