I have just read ArrGee's post about the charity album. I passed the message through Jules because I am very busy with my own musical career, by the way you lot, I am just about to record a cover of mondays and there is a youtube clip knocking about.
Arrgee to be perfectly honest with you, I lost my little book with my passwords in.
The old bobgelof.info site is there for a presence at the moment, the new site is whiz bang and fantastic, we are just waiting Bob's final approval, but of course he has more important things to think about at the moment. I am trying to get to see him in the next couple of weeks.
There an official bobgeldof.info Facebook page, this is just there till the launch of the album and the new site and then we will delete it and link to Jules fantastic site.
So what I am saying, if anyone wants to ask me anything the best thing to do is to join Tina McBain's Facebook. You can message me there.
Tina, I am not on facebook, so cant contact you there. Just to say I have sourced photos, ALL WITH PERMISSION, from ALL Bob's gigs this year, including the Official Hay Festival ones from Mexico. Jules has them up on Facebook, they are on my myspace page and I have sent them to Patrick in Belfast for use on youbloom and the new info page. He has them on his desktop ready to upload. He also has many which were on youbloom before, again all with permission, and some with permisssion to use for merchandise, like signed photos etc. I will continue to do this , as I usually find the photographers are quite willing, as long as they get a credit and a link to their site. If you want me to send any direct to you in the future, pease give me your email. I will be seeing Bob in Belgium, so hopefully will get a chance to talk to him about keeping a link to myspace on the new pages. Wehave over 2500 members, so still a valuable network.

You dont have to convince me of the power of social networking. My own facebook page has only been up 3 months and I have nearly three thousand friends. Many of these buy tickets, albums, etc...
I am a big fan of all this.
When Bob's new info site goes up we will def include Jules Facebook and I can say from my point of view, I will lobby very strongly that your Myspace page is included prominently, yes youre right, 2,500 members is a very powerful tool.
You can send anything to me here at tina@bobgeldof.info I am sure everyone can see the sense in networking together. I start my tour on Thursday with BBBV but am hoping to get to see Bob in September sometime for a meeting re the new site on my days off (when!!!!).
Thanks, I appreciate it. Between us, we might manage it. Use our feminine wiles!! I would not bother with the Bebo page. I dont think I will keep that going much longer. It is for the very young and they think Bob is a boring old thing. (they dont actually say "thing", but I cant print it here) Cant get much interest there. The amount of spam I get, it is not worth it really. I keep Bob updated a couple of times a year, so he knows what is happening.
