FREE Rats Gig Friday 26/11/10

As you may have seen on Rock Artist Management website, the current Rats line up are booked for a gig in Surrey on this date. Venue is near Croydon with good rail links.

This is a private party I'm organising and the Rats have kindly agreed to perform their set, which is a bit of a dream come true for me.

Party is predominantly for old friends and colleagues but I do expect to have a limited number of tickets available for fans on a first come first served basis, free of charge. Tickets will be strictly advance only. There will be no tickets on the door.

All I'm looking for are genuine fans of the Rats willing and able to get to Surrey. Please send a PM if you're interested, confirming names and numbers required, plus address.

Hope to meet a few fellow fans on the night. For anyone who has misgivings about it not being the band as we all knew and loved them, all I can say is don't!

Cheers,
Suss

Hope this goes well Suss. I wonder if the band has expanded its repertoire and started to include some of the later period if that doesn't sound pretentious, material.

Straight Up and Up or Down are two good examples, but I know that sometimes a band will only play the songs people know, so the real aficionados will have to dream on.

Wonder does Simon do Fall Down, but that's probably a bit at odds with the more lively frenetic songs they play live?

ArrGee,

Thanks for adjusting title. Hope the savings on tickets might just help anyone who has to travel or stay over and allow them to consider it.

Cheers,
Suss

Suss may be plied with so much free drink on that night he may not remember the gig the next day, or maybe that's his Blackadder like cunning plan!
