It was fantastic. I went all the way north to Wisconsin to see relatives for a week, down through Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas to see old friends for a week, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee (where I went to the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street, home of the Blues, also saw Graceland, Elvis' home), Illinois, and back to Wisconsin for several days. I saw The SPAM Museum, a Civil War Memorial Park, Frontier Texas, BB King's Restaurant, John Wayne's birth home, the real bridges of Madison county, countless rivers, Elvis impersonators during Elvis week (not planned)...it was incredible.

But now I'm back to torment you all.

Is the Spam Museum near the Tupperware Museum?  (Just kidding - I think the Tupperware Museum is in Florida.)

Spam Museum:  http://media.hormel.com/templates/knowledge/knowledge.asp?catitemid=16&id=9

And sadly, "The Tupperware Museum, aka the Tupperware Awareness Center at Tupperware World HQ in Kissimmee, FL has, it appears, closed down. Shame."

The SPAM Museum is in Austin, Minnesota. SPAM is owned by Hormel Foods. Hormel opened a museum next to their factory.

They had "The Green Midget Cafe" sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus running continuously. I watched it five times. "Lovely SPAM, Wonderful SPAM..."

Yea...
