Wimbledon is off?..... Could it be rescheduled for a different date?... How is it that Ticketmaster was selling tix for an event that was never confirmed?.... The theatre website still had the show listed... GREATLY dissapointed!!! LaMar
The theatre say they don't know it has been cancelled yet and they will be in touch when they hear. They should have waited for confirmation from Bob's management, but obviously went ahead. According to them they did have confirmation when they sold me the tix, but Tina and Ian warned us that they hadn't. Perhaps they thought if they sold the tickets it would have to go ahead. Now they'll have to issue refunds to everyone. I think I had the best seats in the house, so yes it is disappointing.
would be coming from the states.... always plan my trip around a Bob gig...... fortunately I have not made the trip arrangements yet.... But I DO have the Wimbledon tix already.... Does anyone know if there's a late train from Bristol or from any of the other shows in Dec?.. Thanks!!!! LaMar
Thanks Jules I've tried that I really cant see them, I click on appearances and get no dates confirmed and a empty list. I've turned everything off and back on. On the home page i get 9 dates confirmed at the bottom of the news list, but when i click on that i get the same- tour dates not confirmed yet empty list page!! why cant i see them!!
Thanks Jules (for PM) and Rita (got message LOUD and CLEAR!), no wimbledon, I had got tickets but never mind a couple more of the gigs are nearer home.
Well, I guess I too will have to get a hold of Wimbleton Theatre and get a refund! Boo Hoo..
I'm also glad I didn't make travel plans. Was really looking forward to seeing a few members prior to the concert - drats! Maybe this may be possible as more tour dates show up. I also had gresat seats!
I also hope he comes to the US next year. Even Canada would be a nice trip!

Always refresh your browser when visiting a page you visit frequently, else your computer is just reloading what is already in the cache memory. Turning a system on and off, or closing and reopening a browser does nothing to remedy this.
some of the venues havent started selling tickets yet.im trying to get to hull.try the yellow pages or www.yell.com or ring the phone directories.theyll have the number you need
Will there be a London date added? Seems a little odd for an artist as big as Bob Geldof to do a UK tour and not play London! I really wanna see Geldof live, but all the other dates are too far away for me to make. *crosses fingers that a London date will be added*
well the descriptions say the man the music and his life and that he'll be talking doing solo stuff and rats stuff with a full band.so presumably its a pretty even spread of stuff
We have just uploaded the UK tour dates which are confirmed to date, onto the website. Ian
I see Glasgow and I think arrange work related trip to Glasgow office and get hotel/flight paid for and then it ends up that 3.12.05 is a Saturday night!!!
That said, Supergrass are there on Tue 11 Oct 05, so........
i need those tix.i think hull are selling now but i have to wait for my mum to get in, at midnight.im not allowed to buy them you see.and im away tomoz and the box office isnt open on sunday.so it looks like itll be monday.
I haven't heard from Wimbleton, either. I wonder if he still may appear there? I still see Sir Bob listed on their website as coming in December. Tickets are not available for sale, however. It does not say they are sold out. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
One in Oxford/Aylesbury/High Wycombe/Reading or that vacinity would be cool! Surely that should be a privilege of a Guru to request where we want a concert? Tango where would you like to see Bob?
