I bet Bob borrowed the title of his first solo album from the old American standard Deep In The Heart Of Texas.

The South By Southwest festival is one of musics premier events- I think younger bands use it to get record deals and contacts in the US.

Maybe this Austin gig is the one where he starts singing some of the new songs live- maybe the band just has to rehearse the songs a bit more, but anyway it should be interesting.

SXSW is a pretty decent gig to get.    Normally used by bands trying to break US.  Franz Ferdinand did it in 2004 and Kaiser Chiefs in 2005, Arctic Monkeys in 2006 and White Lies in 2009.  Geldof in 2011?   Mmmmm
