A 6 track promo copy of Bobs new album has just been sold for £90 on ebay.I was outbided in the last few seconds by a buyer from Italy.I wonder if Eddy(of The Happy Fan Club) really did throw in the towel like he said he would?.Good luck to the winner, beat me fair and square.
Why pay 90 quid for a six track cd when you can buy the whole album when it comes out for about a tenner.
Totally agree with you on that. Unless it was maybe on vinyl- a cd seems a bit tatty!
Perhaps there were some songs on that six track that were not on the album- he initially had fourteen songs down for our consideration. Maybe Derek would know about this.
Also its possible this Italian guy has money to burn so I suppose it that case good luck to him.

I wasn't expecting it to be that high, thought £20 at the most and yes I thought the same thing - why pay so much for part of an album. Only thing is - is it collectable or something? Rare? But I'll wait for the whole thing and be done with.
Didn't bother bidding when I saw it went it silly. Good to know Bob is worthy of that though.
That original one has been relisted so it might be the same one.
You're right ArrGee crazy things go for lots of money on eBay. My friends put their old rotten shed on there, thinking it was a bit of a joke and no-one would bid on it. But they sold it for, I think, £80 or £90 and the buyer came from Dorset area to north Oxfordshire to collect it.
The guy selling the cd all of the sudden had a second cd.He offered it to me for £88.I politly told him no.I also spoke to Eddy(from Italy) and he denies putting a bid in for the cd.
I have just paid £84.00 for a promo copy of the album, help me I have gone mental.
Yes you have. Its on sale today, official release day 7 Feb for Euro 11.99 which is just over a tenner in uk/Sterling.
I presume you get exactly the same songs and artwork etc
Wonder whats the price in Copenhagen or wherever you live ie the price for the cd in the music outlets. You could have put your money in the piggy bank for a future Geldof concert!

Out of interest, is Young & Sober part of Here's To You on the demo? If so, it could be better than having to scratch out Silly Thing from the proper CD.
I have seen 2 xtra copies of this on ebay.Younge and Sober is not on this promo.I think I have spent over £200 on Bob Geldof this month(please do not tell my wife).
