I BELIEVE Bob and the band are on the Late Late show on Friday on RTe
You can watch for up to 21 days on
http://www.rte.ie/player/#v=1089617
if I am wrong about the date, please excuse, but they are definitely booked sometime soon.

Will watch out for that or catch it on the "playa".

I have never seen the famous interview with Geldof in the late seventies when the Rats were breaking. I'm not sure if video of this survives, when Geldof was slagging off Irelands conservative and corrupt society.

Also the Boomtown Rats must have performed a few times on the show. Think I heard about Bob sarcastically saying to Gay Byrne the host "If you like if so much go and buy the ******* album..." after Byrne hosted the band on the show.

Wonder do these old Late Late Show tapes still exist in the RTE archives?

Can that be a real beard!

Must cushion the violin well though!

Great interview. Lots of time given by the show to make it worthwhile. Not sure if the One Show will be any good as they tend to rattle through the show.

Good to hear Bob say he loves playing live. C'mon Bob back this up by announcing your tour of the UK!

Yes when I heard that comment I instantly thought, a tour of Ireland and the UK please!
