Thanks for that Scottie. They really poured millions into the making of that video.

Somewhere in the distance I can hear the local farmer say "Get orf moi land you Irish tramps!". May have been Bideford area!

Must have been a stunt double- doubt if Bob could really somersault like that.

PS Wonder how many hits the song will get over the months on Youtube.

Yeah I know its wheat not rapeseed.

Around this time yesterday only 36 people had watched the new single. Admittedly it had just been posted.

Twenty four hours later it has been watched 776 times - wonder what those figures will be in a week or two or after a month. Presumably nobody was forced to watch it so its nice to know people bother to seek out the song.

The director of the video could have at least had Bob Loveday playing the violin in time to the music.

I like the trampoline idea but not for the whole video - it ran out of ideas and I started feeling sick because of all the jumping around.

It does come across as completely amateurish and badly thought out- theres only so much you can do with a trampoline.

On the other hand it has a certain charm and is a fingers up to bloated music videos - you could say its got an organic quality. Still I expect better songs on the album.

Luckily, all the songs on the album are better (though how any could have been worse defies belief).  Four very good ones, including Blow Fish which is what the Rats should have been doing post Surfacing.

Nice to hear Geldof going back to something that rocks!

Wish his voice wasn't so distorted on Blowfish- a bit of distortion is ok but I'd wish I could hear  him sing a bit more and its the same with Systematic.  Both these tracks have a Captain Beefheart type vibe. In reality I feel its far from being a great album.

Really hate the sentimentality  of To Live In love and the general slowness of Blow. There seems to be a male/ female devide on which songs are good.

Most of his interesting songs seem to have been written with Pete Briquette who always comes up with more leftfield stuff. Even the song titles are dull - Mary Says for example- but this is one of the tracks which I really like and its emotional chorus Everybody's always saying goodbye.

Totally feel that SAD was way better and the handful of good tracks on this album may be to little too late. Hopefully live versions of Blowfish and Systematic will feature Bobs voice more prominently and the lyrics which are quite good can be heard.

There are as many good Geldof tracks on this abum as the rest of his solo material put together.  I'm enjoying all four of them smile
