New Album Available as Download in N.A.?

I'm a lifelong Boomtown Rats/Bob fan from Winnipeg, Canada and I can't wait to hear the new CD... but it's not out in Canada yet.  I have heard the single and the snippets on the Amazon.co.uk site.

Does anyone know of any online sites where you can purchase the new disc as a download outside of the UK? I ordered the physical CD from Amazon.co.uk and it shipped on Monday, but they won't let me order the mp3 version from North America.

The problem is that I'm going off on a trip out of the country for a few weeks on Friday... and I'm trying to get my hands on the new album by then so I can play it repeately on the trip.

Any ideas?

Hi UpAllNight Good to hear from another lifelong Rats fan.  Are you able to access Spotify?  If you can get it, you can listen, but not download, on there.  Keep you going until you can lay your hands on a copy.

Mercury/Vagrant Records proudly announced the March 15, 2011 release of Bob Geldofs new record How To Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell, to be launched at SXSW where Geldof will perform and headline as keynote speaker.

Thanks for the tip but I checked and of course Spotify can't be accessed from Canada.

The actual CD will likely show up at my house a few days after I leave town.

I've been watching the video for Silly Pretty Thing. I like the song only because the one thing I didn't like about the last disc was the lack of one actual pop song along the lines of Love Or Something.

Can't wait to hear the rest. Cheers.
