Can't think what it might be but I  am curious. The Someones Looking[single] video is in proper lip synch so it couldn't have been them singing a different song.

There is no footage from either 1976 or 1986 but I'm just clutching at straws. Put us out of our misery, Ian.

Have to look closely but at 2m 44s of the Someone's Looking At You promo Geldof is at the keyboard with Fingers and he has his guitar round his neck. The next shot a couple of seconds later we see Geldof prancing across the stage without the guitar, then a second later he's near the mic with the guitar again!

Perhaps leaving out the video for Up All Night was a mistake- it would have been good for American/Canadian fans as the song was a minor hit there. The video was a lot better than say, Drag Me Down, which clumsily put the Rats in a coalmine, albeit in the name of supporting the miners during the strike in 1984/85.

Slight variation but I've always been intrigued by a "mistake" on the V Deep CD reissue packaging.

Anyone spotted the 'anomaly' or able to explain it??

It was beyond my budget, what with buying other Rats priorities so I'll await the other replies.

Well, Gerry is in the picture of the rats inside the cd slip, but had left the band?

That's the one I was referring to. Just seems a little odd, particularly as sleeve notes reference his departure. Trivial thing I realise but....
