All three Dutch gigs have been cancelled by the promoter, according to Bob's website.
Another one to add to m list of cancellations. This time I booked a few days in Amsterdam so will just have a long weekend. Did anyone else book?

Its very hard to find information on the offical site- you have to go looking all over the place.
Re the gigs in the Netherlands that's a pity as I was planning to go there in the next few months, but actually didn't know Bob was due to play there. Probably the Facebook or Scottie's twitter site is more up to date. I wonder was any reason given for the cancellations as October still seems a bit away?
Anyway there's plenty of other distractions in the Dam.

There are no reasons, what reasons do you need to be told? oh oh oh oh
(i'll get my coat)
I suspect the same old story, pi$$ poor ticket sales. With tickets in row D in Gateshead still on sale expect a few more cancellations. The London gig looks to be selling pretty well, so go to that one.

Some cheeky Dutchman has put 6 tickets up for £3.49 each!
Looks like people won't even pay that! Hope no-one does they'll be wasting their £3.49
It just says on the website that it has been cancelled. Irene spotted it and put an announcement of the FB page. We don't know any more than that over there either. It seems rather early to cancel on poor ticket sales when we still have a couple of months to go. maybe though if they have only sold 5 or 6 tickets by now they don't expect to suddenly sell hundreds after now.
Maybe he missed the John Lennon trick of staying in the Amsterdam Hilton for a week in bed. Perhaps taking magic truffles as well. Its all about publicity in the end.
The Franeker gig on 15 october is back on. Plus support act. The theatre managed to negotiate direct with Bob after the promoter pulled out. Presume they had decent sales then.
