The venue's website says 30% tickets are advanced booked and they expect sellout so buy early...but then they would say that.
I'm reasonably confident it will go ahead - famous last words. My hotel is on a 24 hour ahead cancellation policy, and taking car for this one so hopefully no wasted cash.
I've got Globe and Crown booked for B&B @ £47, bang opposite venue apparently. Pay on check in. Only booked earlier tonight and still plenty of rooms she said, and parking is available on site.
Other option was Keep Hotel, but that was about £70, and only continental breakfast . Looks quite smart though if you want to treat Liz

I've booked Globe too, paying on arrival. And ticket will be put aside at venue box office to collect and pay for on night - they were very friendly and said it's a really good venue and that there's a steady flow of ticket sales.
Will be good to see you and Liz too. I hear Suss is providing extra entertainment - some alternative drunken cabaret act, I think which involves lying on the floor!
No, that's not it. I actually work on the theory that if I have enough pints I might eventually tune in to that Black Country twang and understand what you're on about.
Brilliant gig, great venue, enough beers to understand Wes A good crowd turned up and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The band sounded wonderful as ever. Nice to meet Joan as well as everyone else. And a good breakfast in the morning too What more could you want? Oh yeah, maybe a gig in Winchester?

Was indeed a brilliant gig. Can't beat the smallish indoor ones for my money. Guess there were about 100-120 present, and a good 20 of those danced solidly (and very enthusiastically in many cases) for the last half dozen songs.
Set list wasn't anything new; from memory it was Mary, Close as..., Someone's Looking, Neon Heart, Joey, Diamond Smiles, Clockwork, She Does it Right, Riot in CB#9, No 1, Rat Trap, Do You in, She's so Modern, and Mondays. Not in that exact order I'm sure but....
Pleased they're playing Do You In a bit more of late, good one for getting/keeping people dancing.
Really friendly venue and crowd too. Hope they go back there and capitalise on the reaction. Must be a good chance many there would drag a friend along next time on strength of that gig.
