Well that was what I thought, but it seemed to bring up another box last time. This time it is doing it though. Let's hope it likes my Mac

They only did two Peel sessions, so must have been for some other programme on the Beeb. Would love to find more info on this, as had not heard of it before.

Can you remember offhand Mike any of the songs featured? 'Kid' Jensen had some bands in session around 1984 so wonder did he have the Rats in for a cup of tea.

Anymore info about this welcome.

Noel I think it was lucky ',hard times , Dave & I think drag me down ( different version to single) it might've been kid Jensen I can't remember but I know I had it taped off radio at time but like a lot of things must've chucked it or something. Hey never mind though

Thanks for that Mike. It's a pity the tape has gone missing.I love the subtle and sometimes not so subtle differences between sessions and the final product, as in the Peel sessions. I can always find something 'new' in the Rats music by listening to demos, live versions etc

It seems most of ITLG was written around 1983. I had always thought that they were written a bit later ie around early/mid 1984.Anyway I think ITLG is a fantastic album-infact I can't think of one substandard track on it, and the extra tracks on the cd are brilliant too.

The 'holy grail' of missing Rats product surely is the live in Japan 1980 video. Why only Diamond Smiles appears on the net is a mystery. Presumably the whole concert was filmed. Stange that there is so little info about this, and I have checked.
