Hi everyone, I have just put a few pictures from cardiff up for you to view. Unfortunatly we had problems with our camera, just like jules, so the stage pictures were no good. So only the pictures from after have come out (new camera on order). Pic. 6 is Jules with her hubby Howard, jules has the stage set list she got. Pic. 7 is Guy maile the supporting artist. (well worth a listen if you get a chance). Pic 11 is Reevo (mad stage dancer) you can just see the drum stick he got!!! Pic.5 is maureen getting a hug from bob and pic.10 is her with bob. I hope that everyone in the pictures did'nt mind me putting them up to share. Hope you like them Kaz. (Stage Raiders Rule)
P.S. The pictures have been reduced for the web but we have kept them as large as possible, so if you have not got broadband please be patient.
I don't mind showing my pictures. The lighting is rather strange on me and that lump under Howard's coat is the camera Good pictures of Bob in there, even if some people were cut out on some of them. Nice one with Bob's arms around 3 women, bet he liked that
I'm going to have to investigate the cost a decent flash for my camera, trouble is it is a special one with a special housing, so will cost more
There is a shot of the 'famous' ink pen in there too!
Err Kaz, just a thought, but I noticed that Guy Maile is spelt as that, but Rik Mayall is this. If they are related in some way, why would this be? Seems a little odd!
This was an awesome gig with lots of my favourites in the set - I couldn't have chose a better set list myself. At the start of almost every song I was saying to the wife I love this one. On A Night Like This and The Beat Of The Night were a very welcome surprise but the highlight for me was the excellent renedition of Banana Republic.
Great night. Anyone seeing him later in the tour is in for a treat.
It was fantastic Drunc. Did you see my review? What seats did you have? Did you see Reevo jump on stage!! Hilarious! Ian thanks for clearing up the Mayall/Maile question. It was rather ing
Hi Jules, I don't know you or Reevo but I heard you call for Attitude Chicken and we did have a laugh at a guy who jumped on the stage. Bob didn't seem to mind but the bouncers had to push him off once or twice. He also ran back at the end to demand the drummers sticks did he not?
I just read your review - very nice. We were lucky enough to be sat centrally in the 5th row. I have always loved The Boomtown Rats but this was the first time I've seen Geldof and hopefully not the last. It was a fantastic gig.
One thing though, who the hell was the crazy woman contradicting Bob's stories?
There's always some idiot there. I don't know who it was and didn't hear what she was saying. It was only a little heckling, sometimes it gets bad, that was pretty good for a change!
Im Luke. New to the forum, although i have been reading it for some time now.
I was in cardiff, and was such a great concert and atmosphere. I was seated right next to that loopy woman. Firstly, she arrived late. Then, she said to bob that he didnt write a particular set of songs in the ninetees (as Bob said he did) but the seventies. She then proceeded to say to bob that he is God and she is the DEVIL!! That made me laugh so much!
Bob dealt with this very well, and just laughed it off with a joke. The woman must have had something seriously wrong with her.
I was very upset to read on the forum that Bob came out to meet his fans at the end of the Gig. I was sooo hungry so went to Pizza Express and missed him!! Gutted. I would it is such a great feeling to be able to meet your idol, and such a gutting feeling when you realise you could have!! Just a picture and autograph was all i wanted!!
Oh well, i was hoping to go to the Bristol Gig on the 9th Dec, but i have just been on the Colsten Hall website and it states that it has been cancelled. I dont know it this means the tickets have been sold out or if it really has been cancelled. So i still havent got tickets for Bristol. What do you guys think the chances are of Bob coming out to meet fans in Bristol after the Gig? Does it happen all the time?
Sorry for rambling on,
Luke

And I hope the Bristol gig isn't cancelled I've got brilliant seats! There haven't been any announcements on here yet and we have nearly a month to go. The other gigs were cancelled a week before. Surely not... please no... Maybe you could try phoning the venue???
You must have been on the left side, we were on the right.
I just tried too, and you get a message saying 'tickets in this quantity aren't available' I tried 1 and 2! Maybe they are only selling the stalls area? Seems odd. I think a phone call to the venue would help.
No i did'nt book the tickets because i could'nt get a sitter for that nite. I booked leicester instead, we got row 9 aisle seats, I wont know the seat no. untill the tickets arrive.
Kaz has just tried the bristol box office, their not open untill 9 am, but its still listed as a show on there answer machine.
