would anyone have any idea where I could find lyrics to this? I'm trying to jot them down but I'm not sure if I'm right :)
actually, if there are any Bob/Rats lyrics sites around at all, that'd be really good - I find that most of them don't have everything. maybe we should do our own...

Hi Kyr,
for lyrics, look at the German Geldof fan site, they have lots of lyrics.
Hi Kyr and welcome! :) So what's the story of a French speaking Dubliner??
Here's a try at writing down the lyrics to La Chanson de L'Indifférence. I've put between brackets the parts that I'm not sure of, so maybe we can make sense of it together!

I have that book and I don't see the French lyrics, only the English ones. What page are they on?
thanks MJ - yeah, a Dublin Francophone, who'da thought it? heh. I'm studying Law and French at uni, so I enjoy reading and listening to French. and looking at your lyrics, can't see much fault - the bits I had down are the same, so yeah - merci beaucoup! also - I've never seen that book, Whipper, but I'll keep an eye out for it
You should enjoy this tidbit then Be patient as it's quite big!
Actually, its one of the few bits of film I managed to get from Bob's concert in Quebec City a couple years ago. It was the first time I'd seen him live, and I must say, it was pretty damn cool, considering the conditions (cold, windy, and raining)
For you non french speakers, let me translate:
"Good evening! I'm very happy to be in the Quebec for the first time... With the wind, the cold, and the rain. Umm... Excuse me. My french is ****. My wife is french. She doesnt speak english at all. And me, my french.. the same. Its perfect: a life in love.. in silence"
Actually, I bet Bob would like to see this again. Ian should show him
Sorry was all excited about becoming a new member and didn't read request properly. Its on in the book in English. Sorry if I caused and false optimism!
