The Great British Alternative Festival Minehead -From the Jam along with The Blockheads, The Fall, Boomtown Rats, Eddie and The Hot Rods, Selector, Neville Staples,

I think Minehead is going ahead but it's for the Garry/Simon version of the band that's been touring for last few years. Bob and Pete don't feature in that band but this is probably a commitment from before the reunion.
It's further complicated by fact they're now billed for Fri 26th, not Sun 28th, as part of the start of the Butlin's weekend bill, not the end.
In short, I believe the Garry/Simon band will be there on the Friday night, and definitely worth seeing.

In light of recent happenings, check with the venue.
Regarding the Boomtown Rats Roberts & Crowe gigs, the band has been advised to withdraw from them so to avoid any possible confusion with The Boomtown Rats gigs. They are sorry if this means some people will be disappointed, but it is unavoidable.
