Someone's Looking At You 7" version

Is this available on CD? Confess I'm being lazy and haven't checked the Rats compilations but from memory they all include album version.

Was it on any like Teenage Kicks / Sound of Suburbs - i.e. not those but like them?

It's on Time Life - hits of the 80s Alive and Kicking, but it is the album version at 4.25 long.

Hi I have never come across the 7 ins single on cd b4, but now the rats are back together again, I think it's about time they put out a greatest hits cd with not only the way the singles came out, but also all the B side's. As in my opinion the A side did also have some very good B sides, which have yet to make it onto cds, and any hits cds out now just have the album versions on them

I would like one with the single mixes and all the B sides.  Also the VIPs get signed CDs in Australia, so really it should be a new one for your $650.  Thing is I don't see anyone wanting to buy a new Rats compilation CD.  There have been a few goes at it, (Greatest Hits, 20th Century Masters, Loudmouth/Songs of Indifference, Best of), but none have been wholly satisfactory; Best of was close, but omitting House on Fire and abridging Fall Down prevented it from being perfect.

Of course, they could do a live CD of the gig and sign that.  That would be cool...

CDs will be made available instantly at the venue, right after the final note has been played on stage.

Not me...have looked for it on and off down the years but never sourced one, although was fairly half hearted.

Might have mentioned this on forum before but asked my newsagent boss to look for one when he was going over around time it was issued (his wife was Irish). He didn't find one sadly, but did come back with a Mulligan....Someone's Looking At You! Lovely fella..RIP.

What was the B side?

Don't worry...remembered it's on discography on website. Another Piece of Red answers my own question.

Hi Suss,

The B side was another piece of red from the same LP. I have put an image of the record in the new singles chat

Another Piece of Red is without doubt NOT one of The Rats better efforts.
