Just a bit of fun really. After being away for over 25 years the Rats comeback is extraordinary. What other comebacks can you think of that rank right up there?

Apart from Lazarus in the bible? Liverpool 0-3 down at half time in Champions League. Various soap stars coming back from the dead on tv?Sharon Stone for Basic Instinct 2? Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard (all washed up at about 47!) Return of Conservatives to power? (with a little help of course)

Never in a million years.

When I think of all the things that have happened in my lifetime; Man on the Moon, England winning the World Cup, the fall of communism, end of Apartheid, peace in Ulster, test tube babies, the euro, gay marriage, supersonic flight, ATMs, satellite TV, the internet, colour tv, mobile phones etc.

yet still no title for Spurs  biggrin

Skoda's comeback from skips on wheels to pretty damn good cars is worth noting.

Pop-wise, Take That in the mid-2000s and Tina Turner in the mid-80s were pretty significant.

Comeback floods-wise, we did pretty well in the UK last year since, oh I don't know, around the time Noah built his ark......

George Bernard Shaw - I have two tickets for my opening.  Bring a friend, if you have one.

Winston Churchill - Sorry I can't make it, but I'll come along for the second night, if you have one.

Dexys Midnight Runners, this year,  released a new album after being away for about the same time as the Rats. It has got lots of favourable reviews so let's hope the Rats get in the studio at some stage in the near future.
