Bob has 8 solo gigs in June, so I would be happier if he was back on a separate forum. That is what brought me here in the first place.
He is on a separate forum. This one. I relegated Band Aid/Live Aid/Live 8 to a sub forum about 18 months ago because of lack of interest, and no one cared.
The solo activities of all the other members gets mentioned in the Rats forum. As Geldof is part of the band again, he ain't getting no more special treatment

I am of the opinion it would be best to have a single forum. I think it is valid to post Geldof related posts in the rats forum. Not really sure why they were split in the first place. Probably a hangover from the past.

A man wearing 'that suit' should get very special treatment indeed hhhhmmmmm .
On the plus side of separate sections, it can be easier to find topics, instead of having a big pile of posits .
Ah, was just looking in the Rats section and it had gone. Thought you'd deleted altogether. Doh!
I'm not clever enough to think of that ArrGee double doh . Although, sometimes I might look for posts I've seen earlier and didn't get a chance to read or comment.
I think it is better to have two seperate sections. Geldof is a public figure and often makes the news for reasons outside just music. Some people just are not too partial to the Rats music but like Bob solo, so we have to acknowledge that.
It's not a big deal, but some people may not be au fait with the Rats music and may just not bother posting if Geldof and his music is mixed up with the Rats posts.
