isn't it nice to have an African journalist confirm what we have known all along, that Bob does indeed know what he is talking about when it comes to Africa, much more than his critics, who mostly have never set foot on the continent and are never likely to.
Exactly. It's great that it comes from an African journalist. All I've ever read from Africa so far were critics, and I think those are very damaging. This article was sure nice to read
Yes, he has a few "tribal" friends out 'n Africa... the Tuareg camel racers are some... he's had a bit of a shin dig with them.
Bob's been honoured (along with Bonnie Bono) as an "honourary tribal" which is a big call that other music celebrities from the UK have not reached - maybe that's why he was called "The Chairman Mao" by one of his UK music colleagues.Peter Rabbit, I think who also made some other rather disparaging "politically timely" Sherpa comments. I don't know any "black" people from Africa who don't like Bob or what he has done... and I don't know why they tried to make him out to be a Racist - but I could say different about some other people... As if he would devote his life to helping "black" people - and he really has devoted his life - not paid lip service to it, or leveraged his music career on their backs... Nasty and jealous "little" hypocrite wenkers they all are.
Yes, it's indeed nice to see some good news on the subject for a change. All you ever can find are the derogatory remarks. Jules you are amazing to have found this, thanks!!
