Christmas special? Building up to it? What about a birthday party for Bob?

Sounds like the best option.  What about The Ambassador?  Is that still open?

Vicar Street looks sh!t with all the chairs and tables.

Was wondering which venue they will play. The most likely is Vicar Street- Geldof has played there a few times. On Oct 19 Vicar Street is booked for a band called Keywest, so it will have to be elsewhere.

The Olympia on Dame Street is a possibility. The Grand Canal Theatre (won't dignify it with it commercial gas company name) is on Barrow Steet where the gasworks of Rat Trap fame was, so it would be a good choice, as  a newish top class venue, a really good choice, though it's used for lots of posh arts things like ballet, theatre, and suchlike, so not strictly a rock venue.

As it's a Uk tour maybe they will not play Dublin, but logistically Dublin is normally included in most bands 'UK' tour dates. Again a lot depends on venues that are suitable and available.

The Academy on Middle Abbey St is another good option.
