I first spotted that poster 2 years ago or more (it may have been there longer). Gradually bits of it have been torn off. I'm getting worried that more of it will be torn off and you won't be able to see the words Bob Geldof and the picture of him! For a moment, on Sunday, I thought it had gone, but it was hiding behind the phone box and definitely still there.

One time a Rats song was played (Was it Mary or Rat Trap, I can't remember?). And it was on the radio, so when the scene cut to another scene and they also had the radio on it was still playing. Nice touch. Leanne mentioned him once too in a dialogue with Janice.

Once of the script writers/crew is a Geldof fan for sure.

Bob also mentioned watching Corrie , when he was chatting about things during the Perth gig. I dont know if he was joking or not. Maybe we will see him in the Rovers one night!

Yeah I saw it. Bob on Corrie. Now that would be cool! When status Quo were on earlier this year it was so funny!

For anyone else wondering, I think they're talking about Coronation Street, the mother of tv soaps which started in 1960 on the British tv station ITV.

Correct me if I'm wrong!

You are correct, Kat.

Bob also mentioned it in Is that It. Something about knowing you're famous when you're mentioned in Corrie. Well...
