I would say The Hairy Lemon is a bit "pokey" for a large crew. The Foggy Dew on Dame Street is a "muso's" pub. Top music and closer to the venue. Then if you are still thirsty you could stop in Thomas House (the finest dive bar in Dublin city); 20 metres from venue. No food in either though.
I doubt if there will be huge numbers of us. It's best to have food really, most people will want to grab a bite to eat. I've not decided what time to move on to the venue yet. That can wait until the day. Some of us like to be early because we're too short to stand at the back .
I'm happy to go to the Hairy Lemon, or wherever. Once we all agree! BTW the bars at Vicar St open at 7pm on concert nights. I presume it will be around 7 when they start letting the punters in, Jules.

Thats a fine pub, nice to meet many of yee in Clancys in Cork, will try and make this.
hi FAYF was thinking about sending you a pm on PROC music forum but wanted to be sure of meeting up point. If you come along thats great, enjoy the gig anyway. I'm off to see the Rats in london on 26 Oct.
Most of the people on this forum are regulars, but at Cork and Devon there were more or less 5,000 at either gig so the forum doesn't necessarily reflect the public interest.
I' ve just booked my hotel, on Camden Rd London, so won't have to too far to travel.
Hope to see everyone in the Hairy Lemon on Saturday afternoon. Weather for Dublin for the weekend is cooler, breezy about 12-15 C, maybe the 'odd shower' as the Irish weather people say.
Put meeting points in sticky threads at the top. Once a gig is over I will unsticky, and add the newer dates. This thread will doubtless drift down once the tour kicks off.
