Johnny tells a nice story of when Bob's band were at Mandela's house a few years ago. He was quite frail by then. Bob took him by the hand and walked him around. Johnny played a jig on the uke and Mandela laughed and said he liked George Formby. Now there are two names you never thought you would see in one sentence.

Mandela was an incredible man, such a strong belief in his cause that he spent most of his adult life in jail and showed great humanity upon his release where he set about putting his country right.  Just shows what can be achieved by one man.

Well that's what I think; as for Geldof, he has much more to say...

There is nothing tonight on Channel 4 at 11pm about Nelson Mandela and nothing on a search reveals anything called superstar???
