I miss Sky Arts, very tempted to upgrade and get it for a few weeks. Can't see myself getting up at 5am though. They also have Squeeze from New York on at 4.30pm today.
The Southwest Porch at Bryant Park in New York provides a picturesque setting for this secret performance by British pop legends Squeeze.
The groundbreaking band, who arrived on the scene in the 1970s, play hits spanning their entire career, including Is That Love, Pulling Mussels (From The Shell) and Tempted, in celebration of their 2010 album, Spot the Difference, which features new recordings of Squeeze classics.
I would if I knew how to copy from virgin tivo box
It's pretty easy if you have a DVD recorder. Just get a SCART cable and plug it in both boxes.
Another option is to get one of those SCARTs with the three phono outputs and then get a suitable cable into a PC. You will need software to record it and it's a bit messier.
But first of all make sure you get it onto your TIVO box. After that anything is possible.
I do have access to Sky Arts via a stream, but they are very difficult to record well.
Argee. Thanks for informing me of Squeeze - although I did know in advance, but thanks anyway.
As for the copying, I did have a DVD recorder, but alas no more. The copying onto PC is something that I may try and do, but I dount it will be before XMas.
