Just a quick query - I finally got my hands on an excellent quality version of the most sought after item in the Rats' canon, I'd always wanted to have 'Rock Goes to College' DVD, had a copy that was fair in quality, possibly 7/10, but found a download last night to a great quality version (will post the download link when I can re-locate it, never bookmarked it).
The DVD case lists 'Modern' and 'Number 1' - with asterisks, saying they weren't broadcast, and also states running time is 52 minutes; the only version I've seen is 38 minutes. Does anyone know are those two extra songs out there?
The other songs are available but only in audio. Sadly the high quality version, broadcast on bbc 4, is not quite the same as the original where Geldof tells the tv audience to turn up the sound at home or it will sound really sh!tty. But given it took the best part of thirty years to turn up, I shouldn't complain.
Ps most sought after item is At Home & Away. As rare as rocking horse sh!t.
