They are now NOT on the running list for Sunday.?????
The Christians The Straits Lightning Seeds Adam Ant & The Good, The Mad & The Lovely Posse Altered Images Wang Chung John Parr Roland Gift ABC Marc Almond Village People Holly Johnson
I got this list on the official site, but they have reappeared again. I know it is tight for Bob ,as he is at this Aids conference in OZ. They are travelling overnight by bus to get to Perth tonight. Hopefully this has been an oversight. But will keep an eye on it.

Is that same conference that many experts heading for died in the plane crash? Conference must be in doubt if so.
Didn't hear anything last night to suggest band pulling out of Perth.
I mentioned to Darren that it was a long journey for them and what a busy weekend. He just said no worries, it's a nice comfortable bus with beds so we can get some sleep. Surely, he'd have said something if the situation had changed?
They were on at 4.10 for 40 minutes. Bob flew up to Glasgow earlier in the afternoon. A singles set, presumably for all the Rewinds, 7 in all. In no particular order. She's So Modern, Clockwork, Looking at You, Mary, Rat Trap, Mondays, Looking After No. 1. Great performance in the pouring rain. It came on just for the Rats. Brilliant audience, dressed up and in party mood, sang along to them all. The guys were having a great time. Worth the high price. Also saw Beautiful South, The Christians and The Selecter.
On a down note, I know merchandise Mark reads this forum. My T shirt got ruined by black dye from my jacket in the rain. Can I have another . large please? Ta.
Think it went Intro/countdown, then straight into She's So Modern (sounded so weird not getting Eva Braun first after so many shows with it), then Clockwork, Someone's Looking, Mondays, Mary, No 1 and Rat Trap. Can't recall anything else.
I do recall we didn't see Christians though Scottie. You thinking of Matt Bianco?
Didn't actually see last half of set as Bob's appeal for naked crowd prompted the, errrrm, 'lady' next to me to fiddle inside her poncho then unleash this almighty (pretend ) leopardskin bra which was waved very enthusiastically for rest of show and completely obscured view of numerous punters. Didn't like to say anything. She was obviously enjoying herself. Besides, I took a few more pics than usual so I wasn't that much better.
Few of those snaps here, and apologies for the size for phone users etc. The 'grainy' ones were at height of the monsoon.

Gee, thanks Suss. Poor guy did not have a jacket and was absolutely drenched by the end of the set. If you don't mind, I will add a few to the album on FB and flickr Suss? Cheers

Great photos, thanks Suss. Your annoying 'bra' lady was just showing her support?
Is it me or do the guys look younger this year? After all he's been through as well, Geldof seems to have gone from 60 to 55! Gary seems to have lost a little weight and Pete's sidies take several years off him.
Geldof seems especially energetic. Predictably, the Daily Fail don't show this, preferring to show selected photos last year, exhausted, asleep outside hotels etc etc

I think Bob is currently 62 and will be 63 in October. He seems to be putting more effort into moving about on stage, certainly at Guilfest he was moving about like a maniac. Going from one side of the stage to the other and getting everyone involved.
Pete looked quite sharp at Guilfest too, doing the old Wilko Johnson moves more than usual, and casting off his jacket for a black shirt and rolled up sleeves.
Was reading a 'what's on in Guildford' publication in my hotel after the gig and they had an interview with Simon. He mentioned that all was going well, but of course,it all depended on the health of the individual band members. He said that last autumn's tour was great but the travelling was a bit stressful- especially when you have not done it for years.
Re Garry he was lighting up e-cigs, so not sure if he smokes real ones or has given them up for the 'safer' option.
Finally not sure how I would cope with getting drenched at a Rats gig. Dundee looked pretty miserable with that rain.
