Noted this in today's Time Out. I have substituted Wigmore Hall with the Eventim Apollo as I don't think they would allow a rock concert, but otherwise it's the top 20 venues.
My vote is for Cecil Sharp House - it has a charm all of its own! Used to go there regularly to see a band - you used to be able to buy a bottle of wine in bar for about £8 and take in with you. I think it has had a makeover though so not sure if it's still as relaxed as it was ...
Just remembered there was once a line dancing group being held in a room downstairs, which me and a mate joined in with in the interval! They smiled benignly at us - I blame the cheap wine ...
