That was very close. Tough choices. Interesting how we all (including me) constantly talk about album tracks often being more interesting than the singles and it's been all singles from quarter finals and of all of them Rat Trap ends up in the semis.
Same choice as Jules for me. More disappointed to see Someone's Looking lose out than I am Banana Republic, in my vote obviously. Would have liked second semi to be the final, as often heard in football too.

I didn't vote as I held off to have the penalties vote, but had I voted I would have gone for Go Man Go! and made a draw. I think the singles are always likely to win head to heads as they are more familiar.
Given how many thousands of times I've been playing the albums (how many tapes did I destroy through over play? ) over the last 37 years, I'd say all the tracks are equally familiar. That would probably go for many of us diehards around here . .
This is so difficult as I rate all 4 singles especially high. I gave 10 to all 4 in Rank the Singles elsewhere on here. So we're talking cigarette papers when I say Someone's Looking at You v Like Clockwork for the final.
Watching Germany the other day I couldn't help thinking things like Klose As You'll Ever Be, or indeed Kroos As etc...... And Suarez, never bite the hand that feeds
Danny Blind Date ( well pronounced 'blint' in Dutch)
Amusing quote from Danny Mills I think: 'The England team seem to be playing in different post codes'... lol
A big favorite eliminated at the group stage (Spain = Mondays)
The remaining big four making it to the semis (Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands = Rat Trap, Banana Republic, Someone's Looking, Clockwork - in no particular order)
The rank outsider reaching the quarter finals thanks to a favorable draw (Costa Rica = So Strange)
