I might be moving to Devon in September. So might go to this gig. Can someone let e know if this venue is seating or standing or both? Was hoping it might have an upstairs seating area. If I don't move will get an upstairs ticket for the London Forum gig.
funny confusion going on here. The jibe is probably better aimed at me, if anyone. Whilst I prefer the atmosphere of a standing venue, these are old bones are much better off seated. When I had nothing to lean on for a while, I had to get my walking stick out. . Seriously.
Coming from the lady who was sat on a straw bale in the acoustic tent up until just before Rats played at Guilfest..
I'd choose my battles if I were you
Oops, rumbled! Hay, bale me out of this one please Clutching at straws now ...
I was only sitting on a straw bale to avoid being seen in the acoustic tent! That, and the opportunity to get some hair extensions for my typical scarecrow hair style
Jules, I think you deserve a medal for standing up for the 5 hours before the gig to get a prime view - I struggle to get through one and a half hours of standing! I've just perfected pushing my way to the front at the last minute
It is thanks to my walking stick or leaning up against the barrier and codeine and paracetamol that I can do it. Otherwise you'd probably be calling 999. You haven't seen the state of me the next day either!!! Talk about the walking dead and that's without any alcohol.
