Some clarification and correction: it's on the 14th October (assume Bob will have this right in his diary, even though he said the 10th to the Huffpost!) and as Scottie had mentioned elsewhere, it's a BASCA award. Ceremony and lunch at the Savoy in London with Alison Moyet and others also collecting the Gold Badge Award. Nicky Graham who 'discovered' Bros is getting one.
Presented since 1974, the Gold Badge Awards recognise exceptional people from right across the music industry who have worked in support of British songwriters and composers. They are an opportunity for BASCA and its members to thank an outstanding group of men and women who have made a unique contribution to British music. Bob gets his award on Tuesday.
