Really? They've found some renewed energy somewhere. . Hope. I get to hear that again next week.

Review. 'This was not just a gig, it was beautifully performed theatre'.

Thanks Jules, feels like the review of a fan as much as critic. Not the Ian off here by any chance??

Good write up, but should have least acknowledged Alan being in band if everyone else namechecked, in my humble opinion.

Absolutely agree, poor Alan. He deserves credit.

His profile says he spent most of his teenage years in Bicester, Oxfordshire, so another Oxford connection.

At best the Rats music just observed people in difficult life situations but there was no 'diagnostic' solutions offered. No cheap sloganeering or 'join our cause' rantings. Lots of great social observing, and tales of ordinary lives, but no preaching, thankfully.

Good to hear it. We seem to lack in Rats fans. Hopefully not too much, I'd like to see them crawl out of the woodwork in their droves.
