you can get an mp3/mp4 version from Rocking Concerts. They include a full 4 minute sample of Up All Night which sounds fantastic and very good quality. Price listed is something like 5 US dollars.

I am pretty certain you could save your $5 using bittorrent.  I believe I have that. I will have a look tonight, if I can be bothered to stop watching Breaking Bad on Netflix in the hotel   smile

Wonder why Diamond Smiles in only 2.27 mins long? Did they run out of tape or  summit? Banana is 5.50 half the lenght of the 13/14 live version. But again that Seattle version of Up All Night is wonderful. Worth a sample listen just to show how good the Rats were.

Is there a Sleepless In Seattle joke in there somewhere?smile

Newcastle might well be the June 82 date that went out live on Radio 1

So there were 2 concerts in Seattle?  Arrgee's link goes to '79 and all the others '81?

Mike,  did the '81 cd capture This is my Room?  That's a lot of songs advertised and missing.

I'm not sure my iTunes is happy with it either. Or the Mac happy with a Rar file. This hasn't been a problem in the past, maybe it's the updated OS??? Or maybe it's painfully slow...

I'm not much of a teckie, but use 7zip to unzip rar video files and turn them into  mp4 ie  movies I download. , Thats if that is what you are trying to do. 7zip is open free ware. I checked and it works om Macs as well.

It has to be 17th April 1982 as they play Charmed Lives and House On Fire which weren't around in '79. By the way track 11, listed as Once or Twice is actually Keep It Up. I have e-mailed Rockin concerts to point out the errors. It's so great to hear good quality sound from an era where live recordings were dodgy to say the least!

Hi Ian, there is a performance of Rat Trap from Cleveland 1 May 1979. Bob changes the lyrics a little to set the scene in Cleveland. Maybe worth a listen if you haven't heard it already.Sound quality is very good.

The Youtube title says Bradford 1982, but that refers to the gig photos, taken by the person who posted the song. The audio is actually Cleveland 1979. I'm sure the whole concert is available as download or cd.

I'll have a lisaten to that Radio 1 transmitted concert which I'm sure went out live Jun 82 from Newcastle (5th??) to see what track listing is. If they did play same city twice in 2 months you'd expect there to be some variations surely?? Ok maybe not....

Will see what ad-lib might give it away so we can compare notes.

Ok Suss, I wasn't aware they did the Radio One transmitted gig (I was WAY too young at the time!). Sounds like your hunch is going to be the most logical for the correct date.

Hi Noel, yes I have that gig, originally on a bootleg tape I think, now I have it on a cd. Sounds like it was broadcast on local radio.

Have you heard the Newcastle gig Derek? Probably the best performance of Joey I have heard.
