 Dear Ian and Tina

In 2010 my hometown will be the European Cultural Capital and if it is possible I would like to invite Bob.

Pecs is not too big:( http://www.answers.com/pecs&r=67,  http://www.pecs.hu/english/index.php ) but there are a lot of times when Bob plays in small towns.

From this year there is an airport not far from the town.By 2010 there will be a London-pogany flight so Bob doesn't have to travel by train or bus from Budapest to Pecs)

There are beutiful and elegant hotels in the city center for his accomodation:

We have a great theater where he could perform.

(How much would it cost? The town can not pay millions of pounds)

I would be rally glad if Bob would come to Hungaryand I think 2010 would be the best date.

 Thank you.

                             Reka (and Bob's Hungarian fans)

What do you think? Could it happen or this isimpossible.

Well they can't say you didn't give enough notice. Its when I read posts like yours I'm glad I'm Irish.

musicmania - what do you mean?

Reka - good luck with getting Bob to play in Hungary! Your invitation is a lovely idea I think. When it gets closer to the date (well, year) there'll be festivals and other possible events for Bob to appear!

According to Kruger Crowe, $90,000 should suffice to get Geldof.

The band and the entourage would cost a bit more as would the hire of the hall.

If I won the Euro Millions, I'd be tempted to hire Geldof to play at a small intimate London venue.  Only condition would be he play for 2 hours (ignoring chat), I choose the set list and NO solo songs! (ok, he could do Great Song of Indifference as an encore )

I mean because I'm Irish & Bob is Irish I've had the oppertunity to see him & concert & to meet him. Rekamakovics because of where she lives hasn't had the same luck..
