isit me or are most of the rats b sides as good as the asides I think they should do a besides compilation I would certainly buy it what dou you all thin ?
It would be nice if the official sites made them available as downloads particularly the ones that didn't appear on the re-masters. They are all out there, just a matter of hunting them down. I believe there was a zip file with all of them on one of the file sharing sites, but it probably got torn down.

Absolutely all the b sides are fantastic. One b side I would like them to do live is Born To Burn. Such energy, and must contain the longest unbroken lyric in all the Rats songs.
There is an excellent demo version of Late Last Night which was on the Dudgeon sessions from 1979.
The b sides are always good with the rats other artists in the past the b sides haven't been worth playing. Where as the rats you could listen to an album of b sides and still enjoy them
At risk of turning forum into an episode of Last of the Summer Wine I find myself pondering why singles had A and B sides, but albums were always side 1 and side 2.
Guy I work with (looks a bit like Compo funnily enough) came up with a plausible theory, that radio DJs needed to know which song to promote/play. Guess it's debatable why A suggests more priority than 1, but could see where he was coming from.
