Thanks for the full video. I did watch an edited version online a week or two ago. Hotpress also had a 7 page Rats special with Geldof on the cover a few weeks back, also done by Stuart Clarke. Not sure if anyone mentioned this on the forum or elsewhere. I only came across it by accident in a newsagents, but there was a pretty big interview, with Geldof insisting he be on the front cover. Thats why the call him Modest Bob.smile It was to celebrate the bands 40th anniversary, so maybe the  could have put a band pic rather than just Geldof but what's new there?

Great crowd there in the interview tent, pretty vocal and appreciative. Some good stuff about the Leixlip Castle gig, Bob wondering 'Was that in 1978?It was in May 1980.

He claims Shes Gonna Do You in was inspired by seeing Margret Thatcher on tv in her early career, before she became PM. He was waxing lyrical about a song by Van Morrison called In The Garden. I've just downloaded it and will see if it's as good as he says.
