Don't know a f... about Captain Birdseye, but the last two weeks I came over from The Netherlands to England and everytime when I switched on the tele I saw this clown called Jeremy Corbyn. I know a better Corbijn and that's Anton Corbijn. Come on England, this is not the seventies or eighties anymore. Is Arthur Scargill still alive? Although you did a very good job not to join the bloody ... Went to The Jam - About the young idea, unfortunately didn't meet Bruce Foxton or Nicky Weller and even more unfortunately just two days to late to see The Boomtown Rats in Norwich. I hope I don't insult some socialists or Paul Weller, but you deserve a better leader. And the real Rats, not a tribute band...

Anyway, strange story about the anniversary gig, I hoped I could have attended that show, but not going to Ireland, maybe next year but not now for the, well let's say, anniversary gig light. Enough nice gigs soon over here: Stranglers in Nobel - Leiden, Public Image in Paradiso - Amsterdam and even going to Mr Shred, Joe Satriani in De Oosterpoort - Groningen. Back to topic: still hope to see the real Rats next year in The Netherlands with Captain Sensible as support act!!!

No subject off the agenda round here, though to be honest, I think that's the last time he will be associated with The Rats in anyway.

While we are discussing party leaders, anyone got any good David Hameron jokes?

(I'll get my coat)

I don't know if it's funny but the Dutch word pik sounds like pig... I don't know if Google will translate the Dutch word...

Better a crooked nose, than a crooked pik.... Bob can rewrite the lyrics of Dave!. By the way, a pity they don't play that song anymore, though I understand why. Very eighties, fretless bass, but great song.

Oh man, so many. Someone tweeted 'That'll do, pig, that'll do," thus ruining Babe forever.

Thanks for the tip, will avoid the south coast this week.  I guess Kinnock won't be going anywhere near the beach...
