There will be extremely limited edition individually numbered t-shirts produced for Sunday's Anniversary gig in Dublin, 50 in total. Given that band, friends and crew will no doubt snap up first few, it's possible only 20-30 may remain for public sale.

Sizes range from small to XXL, but I've no idea how t-shirts will be numbered so if interested please state SIZE not which 'number' you would ideally like.

Not seen one but essentially it's a white tee with the 'backdrop' encircled Rat forming a 0, with the number 4 printed alongside to make it a '40' logo. Wording includes '1975-2015...and forever' (or something like that) and each shirt states in small print "Limited Edition n/50"....

Have agreed to take pre-orders through forum only on a first come first served basis (including when size runs out) so please PM me with preferred size. To try to keep it fair I'll limit to one per forum member going to the gig only, based on time orders placed. Apologies up front to those not going but it's essentially a gig souvenir.

I'll then take payment £20 (sterling) at Brogan's before 4pm so I can collect orders direct from merchandising before any unclaimed are delivered to site merch stand for general sale. Hopefully all those who know me are happy to trust me with the dosh on the day and I'll bring goods back to pub

As an aside, new hoodies will also be available at venue (believe they're a dark blue/green colour) at around £25 (or Euro equivalent).

After three wasted hours on the Adele pre sale this morning, I opened this with great trepidation.

I should be more or less first in the queue for this so like those who got all the tickets this morning I can provide one soaked with 40th anninversary sweat on the secondary market for £200

The hoodies aren't exclusive (well I don't think so) , so I guess I could bring one along to the Damned, if you get a ticket.

Sneaky preview of goods. T-shirts are generous sizing. Hoodies are khaki. Also included a very limited lady style t-shirt (there are literally about 4 of these) - also khaki.

Finally, a lady's t-shirt! I guess I'm not eligible for one of those, since I can't come to Dublin...
I hope there will be some next year at a gig.

Ladies t-shirts aren't tied to 40th so don't see why not.

Let me know asap if you want one reserved and we can sort out funding later. They look tiny to me (being of fat bloke persuasion), but I'll let you state size preference and we'll see what merch have got.

So glad there is no pre sale nonsense with the Rats. Third fail getting Adele tickets and now extra dates which are on sale on Monday when I am in the air somewhere between Dublin and London. Should never have mentioned this to Mrs. ArrGee....

Should you give up? Or should you just keep chasing payments, even if it leads nowhere??

Someone like you just had to reply...

... just found out there is a pre sale at noon on Sunday, which is about the time I will be arriving at Stansted Airport.  If I don't get them in the hour before the flight boards, that's it, I quit, I'm moving on.

Good luck.

Last shout (to all) on t-shirt orders by the way. There will I'm sure be some on sale at venue, to start with at least, but some sizes in very short supply already, plus expectation is venue cost will be greater pro-rata. I'll check later tonight but after that can't guarantee I'll pick up any new mesages/orders.

Possible game changer.....

Venue will be charging almost double the offer here and.......anyone in possession of shirt will be granted access backstage where shirts can be signed by band if so wished.

Can't say they're not looking out for the fans.

How can I refuse?   I'll bring a marker! (tempted to bring my Tonic for the Troops LP cover, maybe third time lucky)
