What do you all think of Mr Fingers 3 penned songs for the Rats Albums. Sleep have to say when I 1st heard this .It just bowled me over. Lucky is another great song. But Another sad story I would give this one a miss. Wonder if the last two songs were rejects from his Gung ho time????
Loved all3 of fingers songs. Another sad story was superb love it love the whole album. In fact my fav rats lp ironic commercially a flop yet the lp was absolute genius ain't that the way?
Gung Ho came after the Rats split up.I like all 3 songs and I would have released Lucky as a single instead of Tonight.
I know that. But was just wording if the songs might have been knocking around for sometime. And also thinking if play to win was knocking around with the other 3 songs. I have this single on record cd and 12 ins plus tape. But I never did get the album or hear any of the other tracks

Agree with you here. This album should have been a hit Some real great songs on it
There was an interesting piece in the Irish Times a while back about the Moylett family, well about Johnnie, and his sisters Susan and Regine. it was part of a series about famous siblings.
Some interesting things about the Rats and the Moylett family dynamic if one cares to read the feature: Think it dates from early 'noughties'.
re the 3 songs they are all very good so it's really hard to choose. RE ever rejoining the Rats I think it's very unlikely - and living in Japan poses major 'logistical' problems. Maybe if he lived in the Uk/Ireland/Europe then it would have been a different story.
