Agree 100%. Some great songs, Chains of Pain, Walking back, GSOI, etc.

Always thought Love or something should have done better, hot on the heels of GSOI reaching 15.

In those pre Internet days, and infrequently buying any music papers,  I had no idea GSOI was even out. I had to get up for work very early in those days and remember Jakki Brambles playing it about 6.15 am one morning on Radio 1. I could not believe how catchy and ironic it was and knew it would be a hit.

Like the bit where Geldof slags off Idle's shirt and then Idle retorts 'At least it's from this century.....' Bob must have been going through a Lord Byron/Heathcliffe phase.smile

I'm not sure which of them looks worse, but a fine pair. Aspel had almost become a decent interviewer by then, something I've never seen him quite achieve, I don't think.

I think he went on Wogan with Love or something barefoot, and spent most of the interview with his foot on his chair, attending to an ingrown toenail and telling Terry about it. Strange what you recall.
