  • Sunday 05 March 2017 Sporthalle Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany
  • Monday 06 March 2017 Pier 2, Bremen, Germany
  • Friday 24 March 2017 Mandela Hall, Belfast, UK
  • Saturday 25 March 2017 Olympia Theatre, Dublin, Ireland

band will play Belfast's Mandela Hall and Dublin's Olympia Theatre in March next year as part of a six date European tour.

I might go to the Hamburg gig. Pity it's a Sunday night, but what the hell.I'm off to Maastricht at the weekend so feeling all European at the moment. I haven't ventured outside the Uk/Ireland for any of the Rats gigs so Hamburg might be a good place to start.Just need to brush up on some basic German.smile

If I can be shoe horned out of my sofa, I am only going to events on the night tube on Friday/Saturday. That said, at the moment I can't even be bothered to head down to Brixton to see The Damned and The Stranglers on a Saturday and Friday night respectively. Might change my mind nearer the time, but I doubt it.

It´s easier for me to get to Hamburg than Dublin.Went to Hamburg in 96 to see Simple Minds and I look forward to seeing The Rats outside of England.

Maybe one of the 2 European dates still to be announced will be a Friday or Saturday night in London in mid March ArrGee? I think we'll just about be still in Europe then, so it could qualify!

We're now doing Belfast instead of Dublin. At least we won't need to worry about the £ to Euro exchange rate, although that wasn't the reason for the change! Really looking forward to it.

You will love the Belfast gig. Geldof played here with his solo band. But it's really a small place. But you do get up close to the band. Will see you at this gig. Keep in mind a wee Bar/Pub called Ryan's Bar Great for somewhere to eat and just round the corner from the gig
