Some classic Rats shows on there incl Ludwigshaven 1981 and Seattle '81 as well. Also audience recording of the Rats in Genova (Genoa ) as part of the ITLG Tour.Didn't think they made it all the way to Italy on that tour but you learn something new every day.

Been  listening to the Boston concert for the last few nights. Great live version of Nice N Neat and pretty interesting guitar work on Sleep,  the final track. Strangely Diamond Smiles is missing from the lineup.

Bob is very amusing introducing the band; 'Johnnie Fingers on pajamas...', 'every day is St Patrick's Day for GERRY Cott...'(lol). I got so carried away  I though I was actually at the gig and started automatically clapping for each band member.smile

Not too keen on the sax ruining Kicks  though the rest was pretty top notch. In lots of ways the band and Geldof in particular, give out the same energy nowadays. Close your eyes and it's hard to see/hear much difference.

I might get my hands on some more of these classic live radio gigs. They have a great energy and vibe, are authentic with all the original band members, and you can always spot little changes in the sound that pique your interest, even after years of hearing these songs.
