Saturday 8th July, Croke Park, Guildford. Will search for a link for tickets in a bit. It's with Madness.

Same venue as the last time they played in Guildford. Was at that one and very good it was.I really hope they record some new  songs and add a bit of spice to proceedings.Otherwise it's the  same old(very good) thing and no matter how much one likes a band being too predictable ain't so  neat (to borrow a line from somewhere)smile

It will be groundhog day.

I predict the usual festival setlist, lots of shouting MEGA!, a snake suit tale etc.  You know the score.

Expect this, in this order

  1. (I Never Loved) Eva Braun
  2. Like Clockwork
  3. Neon Heart
  4. (She's Gonna) Do You In
  5. Someone's Looking at You
  6. Banana Republic
  7. She's So Modern
  8. I Don't Like Mondays
  9. Close as You'll Ever Be
  10. Mary of the 4th Form
  11. Looking After No. 1
  12. Rat Trap
  13. The Boomtown Rats!

The Darkness should be a laugh and Reverend & The Makers have a few good songs (Champion of the World probably the stand out).  Not so sure about Toploader.

I did see Reverend & The Makers live at Wembley Stadium.  Half time entertainment at an FA Cup Semi Final  Ditto The Wombats, The Enemy and Tinchy Strider.
