Just got my ticket today for the Dublin gig.Girl at Ticketmaster kiosk said there were still 'loads of tickets left' for Olympia gig. Unlikely to be going to Belfast at this stage.

Hopefully Geldof might ditch the snakeskin suit and the predictable banter and move things on a bit with a few new songs.Otherwise it is nostalgia central whatever he may say.

One good thing is that both gigs are on at the weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, so that might help shift more tickets.I'm still a bit surprised that the band are back in Dublin only 6 months after Leopardstown but that show was rather excellent, even though I have seen them quite a bit in recent years.

The support band in Dublin is Hardwicke Circus, from Carlisle.

Hopefully it doesn't get "postponed".

I don't think there will be any changes.  At best there may be some less played old songs like Joey or Howard Hughes, but I wouldn't even expect that.  Start with Eva Braun, Snakesuit, mega, dissing the audience's attire, long rambling during Mary, extended Banana Republic and finishing with Diamond Smiles and the eponymous song.  Why change a winning formula?

As predictable as Arsenal finishing 4th and getting dumped in the last 16 of the Champions League or Orient losing at home.  Orient have one last chance to get a home win against the league leaders on Saturday before they are liquidated.  How can a side lose 15 out of 19 home games in one season?

You forgot the 'number one' the Germans thought was about them. Because 'they think everything's about them' smile

If it's polyester, it won't breathe, so lots. 100% cotton, maybe less so.

Looks plastic to me.  Anyway it is back if last night's TV show is anything to go by.  Pete now has a beard, and for a moment I thought the Rats had a new guitarist, but I think Darren has just had a haircut which makes him look even younger!   Camera work was quite erratic, and stage was very small.  The saxophonist was stood on the riser in front of the drums cos there was no space on the stage.

Similar thoughts. But decided it probably was Darren by the facial expressions although the camera never rested on him long enough to be immediately sure. Pete's doing well if that's his natural beard colour. Only the odd fleck of grey. I am clean shaven and only once in the last 35 or so years decided to try to grow a beard. It was recently so there was much grey and aged me. Pete looks a bit younger with his.
