[First date sold out immediately, so second date announced]

Ordinarily I wouldn't bother with Tom, but seeing him perform this classic album at the iconic 100 Club for £25 is an offer I can't refuse!

To mark the 40th anniversary of 2-4-6-8 Motorway in October 2017, Tom pays tribute to the original TRB by performing his entire Power In The Darkness album back at Londons legendary 100 Club with a classic four piece lineup. His incendiary live quartet features Faithless drummer Andy Treacey, Richard Ashcroft guitarist Adam Phillips and keyboard virtuoso Jim Simmons plus Tom himself on bass and lead vocals.

  • "Up Against the Wall"
  • "Grey Cortina"
  • "Too Good to Be True"
  • "Ain't Gonna Take It"
  • "Long Hot Summer"
  • "The Winter of '79"
  • "Man You Never Saw"
  • "Better Decide Which Side You're On"
  • "You Gotta Survive"
  • "Power in the Darkness"
  • "2-4-6-8 Motorway"
  • "(Sing If You're) Glad to Be Gay"
  • "Don't Take No for an Answer"
  • "Martin"
  • "I'm All Right Jack"

Too much to hope for The Rats to do similar in June next year?  Or even September this year?

I'll be at the first date, seen Tom a few times now and he's always particularly top notch with a band, should be a good'n!

Ditto. Will see you there!  Handily Power in the Darkness is on Amazon Music, so I have had a couple of re-listens in recent weeks.
